How to arrive in Bellagio - part 1

The most easy way to arrive in Bellagio is take the train from Milan (Stazione Centrale) to Varenna-Esino, this train is directly and maybe stop in 3-4 places before arrive to Lake Como area. Hear the timetable and info.

Once in Varenna you will have to walk for about 10 minutes to the ferry station. This walk on arrival is done by walking downwards, on the return upwards.

There are two types of ferries:

• The one for people only

• The one for cars and people.

I advise you to take the one for cars, you can also get on without it, because it is more frequent and goes directly to Bellagio. The one for people only often stops in Menaggio first.

The direct ferry takes just 15 minutes.

PLEASE ! don't take the train from Milan to Como if you want to come to Bellagio. After Como City it is difficult to get to Bellagio and there are often problems with the bus and ferries. Besides the fact that they are full and there are long queues
